Scenic Glider Flight over the Teton Range

One of the best ways from a seated position to take in the Teton Range is to join Teton Aviation for a scenic glider flight.  The tow plane will take you up to approximately 12,000 feet and then the glider pilot artfully flies you around catching the thermals.  Just like an eagle soaring, you circle around observing one of the most famous mountain ranges in the world from the comfort and stability of the glider.

What is amazing is how quite it is without an engine.  While circling the pilot is able to call out the topographic features in the range giving you an interpretive trip.  It’s a perfect platform for photo taking from a perspective few have ever seen.

As you fly around the pilot maintains the needed airspeed to stay aloft.  They will slowly start the descent back to the airport giving you a ride of a lifetime.

Approximately 1 hour flight.
