Snow King Mountain – one stop shop for food, fun and adventure!


Adventure can be found everywhere in Jackson, now King is our ‘town hill’ and the adventure is at our doorstep! Snow King is the oldest ski area in Wyoming and in the summer the ski resort transforms its base into a real community hub, offering a wide range of summer activities for all ages along with spectacular views of Jackson Hole and the Teton Mountain range.

 

How to Snow King

Come for a hike and stay for some games!

Snow King Mountain offers a full day pass “Big King Pass” or an evening pass granting you access from 5 to 9pm or you can purchase individual rides. Hiking is free for everyone!

 

Local tip: Hang out at Kings Grill All-American restaurant, located in the Rafferty Center just steps away from the Cowboy Coaster, and restore between fun and games. Open for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Full day of fun

We recommend purchasing the Big King Pass so you can play all day! ($125 adults, $50 kids)

The Big King Pass includes a single day of unlimited use on all of the activities including mini-golf, the Cowboy Coaster, Alpine Slide, Amaze’n Snow King maze, bungee trampoline and scenic chair lift, plus one tour on the Treetop Adventure Course.

 

Evening fun

The evening Pass is available for all ages and offered from 5 to 9 p.m. for $65, the evening pass does not include access to the Treetop Adventure.

What to do at the top

The Hike! A local’s favorite, find the trail head at the bottom of the hill near the chairlift and begin the trek up the switchbacks gaining 1,500 vertical feet. When you reach the top take in the mountain air, stroll through the wildflowers and view the famous 360-degree views, you may even be able to spot your favorite shops and restaurants in town (insider tip: once you’ve made it to the top you can ride the lift down for $4 or $5 so you can to continue to gaze at the stunning Teton Mountain Range)

Cowboy Coaster

Try to keep your eyes open as you zip, twist and turn through nearly a mile of loops, curves and drops – some as high as four stories tall! Cost: $21 driver, $10 passenger. Learn more.

 

Alpine Slide

A Jackson Hole institution for 40 years, the alpine slide takes you zooming across the mountain and down 350 feet over the half miles track at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour. Cost: $16 (7 years and older); $5 (ages 2-6).

 

Tree Top Adventure - Snow King Mountain Resort - Jackson Hole

Tree top adventure
With Course elements 12 to 80 feet off the ground, you’ll quickly discover why this activity is called the Treetop Adventure! Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $75 (ages 12 and up).

 

Amaze’n Maze

Themed with animals of Greater Yellow Stone Ecosystem, the Amaze’n Maze runners are timed searching for different checkpoints in the structure, including interpretive elements related to eight animals that are hidden within! Cost: $10 for ages 6 and up; $ 5 under age 6. Re-runs through the maze are $5.

 

Mini Golf - Snow King Mountain Resort - Jackson Hole

Mini-Golf
Fore! The family-friendly mini-golf course travels through multiple levels and is a great activity for kids of all ages. Cost: $13 adults/kids age 7 and older; $6 kinds age 6 and under.

 

Bungee trampoline

Get some air on the bungee trampoline! Even adults will marvel at how high they can get!

Cost: $10 (2 years minimum age).

 

Boulder wall

Try your mountain climbing skills on the boulder wall located at the base of Snow King, are you ready for the climb?!

Scenic Chair Lift - Snow King Mountain Resort - Jackson Hole

Don’t Miss the View- Scenic Chairlift Ride!

The views of Jackson Hole and the Teton Mountain range are a must from the scenic chairlift ride! Sit back and relax while you take in the views of town and the Teton Mountain Range. Cost: $20 adults, kids 6 and under are free. Hike up and ride down, $5.

 

Summer Concert Series

Don’t miss a (nearly) free concert at the base of the mountain. Snow King hosts a series of big name concerts throughout the summer, if your trip falls during a concert be sure to check it out! Cost: $5 for those age 18 and older/ Free for ages 17 and below. Click here for the calendar.
