Taqueria during the day, and elevated modern cuisine with Mexican inspiration in the evening. Hatch serves lunch and dinner just one block from Town Square with the cleanliness, elegance, and creativity you should expect.
You will not find Mexican ingredients served like this anywhere else in Jackson. Two menus are presented at Hatch one for lunch and one for dinner. The dinner menu is separated by Antojitos, Sopas y Ensaladas, and Platos Fuertos. Appetizers like Grilled Beet Brochetas and Tradito Camaron with both excite and surprise. The lunch menu lets the taco be the star, highlighting high-quality ingredients with handmade salsas and spice.
Lets not forget the Tequila… With a large selection of tequilas and mezcals you know the margaritas are first-class. Choose from Blancos, Repasados and Anejos in a variety of Mexican Tequilas. The knowledgeable wait staff will give you a run down to see what tequila experience is best for you. Most tequilas hail from Jalisco, Mexico and range from high to low-end. A Tequila Flight will give you all three aged tequilas of a specific brand plus a sangrita palate cleanser.
Hatch: to emerge anew. This restaurant can be described as a Repasado Tequila, it is only 8 months old and yet it is tasty and enjoyable. That being said there is a lot of room for growth and with age comes refined excellence. Tortillas are the most essential part of Mexican food not to mention tacos themselves. This is why Non-GMO corn is important to people who are concerned about the products they consume while dining out, even the tortillas. Non-GMO Corn tortillas are served here, it does mean the prices are raised a little but is it worth it to you? Hatch puts forth valiant efforts to make every component of a dish high-quality in taste and final presentation.
The dinner and lunch menus are also gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian friendly. Come visit music Mondays or for Happy Hour 4-6 p.m. and 9-10 p.m. Daily Margarita specials made with freshly squeezed lime juice are a treat!
