Take a Stagecoach Ride

Take a tour of historic downtown Jackson, WY, in the carriage of a horse drawn stagecoach! The tours last approximately 10 minutes and are available around Town Square from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for kids, and the stagecoaches seat 4-6 passengers. See the Video

Watch the Jackson Hole Shootout

A Wyoming tradition since 1957, the Jackson Hole Shootout is a must-see for everyone! The “lively reenactment of frontier justice” takes place Monday through Saturday at 6:00 pm, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Don’t miss the longest-running shootout in the country! The shootout is free to the public, with no reservations required. See the Video

Saddle Up at the Cowboy Bar

If you’re looking for a taste of the Wild West, stop by the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, located right in the heart of downtown Jackson. Enjoy the western décor, animal mounts, and genuine saddle barstools while sipping your drink. The bar has swing dancing with live country music six nights a week, as well as country-western dance lessons on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. So put on your cowboy boots and stop by the Cowboy Bar during your Jackson Hole journey!

Stroll the Wooden Boardwalks Downtown

Shopaholics can find solace amidst the numerous shops and boutiques in downtown Jackson. From boot shops, to jewelry stores, to western clothing outfitters, downtown Jackson has a lot to offer! What’s more, wooden boardwalks line the streets, creating a truly old west atmosphere. Whether window-shopping or just out for a stroll, you will thoroughly enjoy spending an afternoon in downtown Jackson!

Take a Scenic Chairlift Ride at Snow King

Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Teton Range and the valley below from the top of Snow King Mountain. Kids and adults of all ages can ride the Summit Lift. Once at the top, visitors can choose to hike to the bottom or ride the lift back down. Those looking to enjoy a mid-day snack at the top can head over to the picnic area. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for juniors (7-12) and seniors (65+). The chairlift opens daily at 10:00 am.
