Jackson Hole’s Ember Lily Spa Features Holistic Skincare Brand

Naturopathica — a 31-year-old holistic skincare, wellness and spa brand rooted in plant-based formulations, clinical efficacy and spa rituals inspired by traditional healing practices — is partnering with Trailborn Jackson Hole, Marriott’s new luxury outdoor hospitality brand, to launch a custom treatment program at the hotel’s Ember Lily Spa.

Jackson Hole Traveler asked Vice President of Brand Marketing for Trailborn, Taylor Micaela Davis, to expound upon Natureopathica and Ember Lily Spa.

Q: Is Ember Lily Spa the largest spa in Jackson Hole?
A: Yes, Ember Lily Spa is the largest spa in the town of Jackson Hole.

Q: What is meant by the name Ember Lily Spa?
A: An ember lily is a mythical flower of our own creation that combines the calm, settled power of a bright, warming ember with the perennial lily,
a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings.

Q: What was behind the decision for Trailborn Jackson Hole to highlight/team up with Naturopathica?
A: Trailborn Jackson Hole chose to partner with Naturopathica because of the brand’s strong connection to nature and its use of thoughtfully selected botanical ingredients. This philosophy aligns naturally with Ember Lily Spa’s focus on experiences that are rooted in the surrounding environment and support restoration, recovery and well-being. Naturopathica’s ability to collaborate with us in developing signature treatments was also important, allowing us to create services that are distinctive to the Ember Lily brand and reflect the character of Jackson Hole.

Q: What are a few of the specifics of Naturopathica’s signature treatments at Ember Lily? Are they all aimed specifically at the outdoor traveler?

A: The Teton Apothecary Body Treatment was created exclusively for Ember Lily Jackson Hole. This Naturopathica signature body treatment restores skin and senses after time spent in the mountains. Rooted in the landscape it sits within, it features bentonite clay from the Big Horn Basin and wild-crafted Alpine Arnica, which is traditionally native to the surrounding Rocky Mountain meadows.

Ember Lily Open Sky Reset is a Naturopathica-exclusive body ritual designed to calm the nervous system and ground guests after travel, altitude, and time spent outdoors. The experience begins with a soft dry brushing, followed by an intentional, slow flow massage with Meditation Aromatic Alchemy and warming Ginger Root Body Oil and finishes with a soothing scalp ritual meant to melt away tension and quiet the mind.

Ember Lily Alpine Recovery is another exclusive body ritual for the trail-worn: skiers, climbers and anyone who cherishes a mountain view. Deep-tissue techniques and arnica ease muscle tension where the mountain left its mark. Weary feet receive their own restoration: a hot towel compress infused with Sweet Birch and Magnesium, an espresso mud scrub polishes and invigorates, then Mighty Mint Rescue Cream soothes tired feet and legs.

The Ember Lily Canyon Replenish Facial is a Naturopathica deep-hydration facial. A Manuka Honey cleansing massage and Pear & Fig enzyme exfoliation smooth and refine, then a nourishing facial massage and a cooling Manuka Honey peel-off mask flood moisture-deprived skin with hydration and glow.

Ember Lily Coastal Restore Ritual is inspired by coastal memories. A mineral-rich marine wrap pulls the coastline’s restorative powers into tired skin, a Wild Lime scalp massage restores moisture to the hair and scalp, and an application of citrus-bright dry-oil emulsion seals it all in to leave the body feeling fresh and nourished.

Q: Will the spa be selling Naturopathica products?
A: Yes. The spa will carry a curated assortment of Naturopathica products that complement the branded Ember Lily signature services, allowing guests to continue the benefits of their treatments and incorporate elements of the Ember Lily experience into their wellness routines at home.
