Jackson Hole People’s Market: Wednesday’s

One of the best parts of the summer season in Jackson, are the local Farmers’ markets.  Indulge in the taste of fresh food with a sustainable background, and see what feeds the Tetons!

Quick Facts

Where: Phil Baux Park/ Snow King Ball Field

When: Every Wednesday from 4-7 pm

What Can I Find There: All large variety of herbs, veggies and meats from local organic farms. As well as Artisanal chesses, breads, jams, pies and sauces. Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Indian Fry Bread, Momos, Pizza, and Tamales… Just to name a few

The People’s Market is a little different from the Saturday markets occurring on Town Square.  Backed by Slow Food in the Tetons, a local non-profit, the People’s Market at the Snow King Ball Field also showcases local restaurants and small businesses producing yummy dinner and lunch options.

Another exciting part of the People’s Market, is the sound of local musicians playing in the background. The music ranges from bluegrass, Celtic jam bands to solo guitarists. And while you are swaying to the music and eating a snack, you can grab a local brew from Snake River Brewing Company to top it off!

Whether or not you have traveled to Jackson Hole before; if you like fresh veggies, music and good food this is a worthy afternoon event. Even pick up some cheese and bread for your next picnic in Grand Teton National Park! All in all it is great opportunity to meet locals and get the full story on the Jackson lifestyle.
